본문은 문장이 어려운 것은 아닙니다 다만 등위 접속사 and의 연결 범위에 대한 다양한 예를 보여 주고 있어 살펴 볼 필요가 있습니다. 이 문장에는 문장을 연결하는 and, 술부를 연결하는 and, 구룰 연결하는 and 등의 사용 예를 볼 수 있습니다.

접속사 and는 같은 성격의 어구를 연결합니다. 즉 문장과 문장, 구와 구, 명사와 명사 등을 연결합니다.
이 문장은 전체로 볼 때 1)과 같이 두 개의 문장이 연결된 것으로 볼 수도 있고 2)와 같이 주부는 공유하고 술부만 연결한 것으로 볼 수도 있습니다. 약간의 뉘앙스 차이는 있겠지만 의미에 큰 차이는 없어 보입니다.
